At Transformation Health, the quality of your medication matters as much as the care behind your prescription. That is not a slogan. The single biggest safety decision in this entire category is where your medication comes from, and it is the one most easily gotten wrong. This page explains how our pharmacy network is built around safety, the standards every partner has to meet, how their medication is tested, and how you can verify all of it yourself.

The choice that matters most: a licensed pharmacy, not the grey market

There is a wide gulf between a US-based, state-licensed compounding pharmacy and the unregulated grey market of overseas sellers and “research” products. One operates under state pharmacy board oversight, prepares medication against a real prescription, and tests what it makes. The other answers to no one.

We work only on the licensed side of that line. We never source from overseas facilities, which are not subject to US pharmacy regulation or inspection, and we never touch products sold as “research peptides” or “not for human use” to sidestep pharmacy law. The standards every partner must meet

Before any pharmacy can prepare medication for someone in our network, it has to clear a consistent set of requirements. These are the same credentials a careful patient would check on their own. We make them a requirement rather than a hope.

• An active license from the state pharmacy board where it operates, with a licensed pharmacist overseeing compounding.
• Sterile compounding under recognized US Pharmacopeia standards, in a controlled environment.
• Batch testing for potency, purity, and sterility, with a certificate of analysis available.
• A US-based, verifiable physical address, subject to state board oversight and, for 503B facilities, FDA inspection.
• A valid prescription for a specific patient, written by an independent, licensed provider, before anything is prepared.

An honest note on what “safe” means here

We are careful with this word, because the category is full of companies that are not. Compounded medications are not FDA-approved, and no amount of testing changes that fact. FDA approval is a specific process that applies to branded products, and compounded preparations do not go through it.

What compounded medication has instead is a real set of controls: a licensed pharmacy, a provider’s prescription, and independent testing you can verify. That is meaningfully different from an unregulated product with none of those things. When we say our approach is built for safety, we mean those verifiable controls, not a claim of FDA approval we are not entitled to make.

How you can verify any of this yourself

You do not have to take our word for it. The credentials we require are ones you can check independently, and we encourage it.

You can look up any pharmacy’s license through its state pharmacy board’s public database. You can check whether it holds accreditation from the Pharmacy Compounding Accreditation Board. You can search the FDA’s warning letter database for its name. And you can request the certificate of analysis for your specific batch to confirm recent testing for potency, purity, and sterility. We do not control or interfere with the independent clinical judgment of the pharmacists who prepare your medication, and the clinical decision to prescribe always belongs to an independent, licensed provider, never to us and never to the pharmacy.
